 "Connections is the best place to work. For me they have healed wounds that they did not create. Having a family-based employer is extremely important to me. I am not sure how my life would be right now if I had not made that change years ago. I owe many people within this company a lot, as they showed me kindness and support that I had not received anywhere else before. When you feel valued and appreciated your days never feel like work.  "Connections to me is….AMAZING!  While I haven’t been with the company for long, I have never felt more valued and supported. When your manager tells you that you are doing a great job, and she appreciates you more than one time….that feels amazing. When your Regional Director calls you in person and says …..“I know you are going through a rough time with this case, but don’t worry we have your back and appreciate you”….that feels amazing. AND WHEN your COO reaches out to you, asks if you are doing ok, says you are doing a great job, and Connections appreciates the work you are doing…..again amazing. Connections doesn’t only say they care about their employees and people they serve, the ACTUALLY mean it and show it. When you’re talking to your 15-year-old about her future career aspirations and are talking about advocating for others and she says “like you do in your job mom” that’s EVERYTHING and working for Connections is the reason she recognizes that.   I feel like my work has meaning, and that makes a person want to get out of bed in the morning. Happy 10th Anniversary!"
